Juel Finished 4th, Juel Prep Finished 3rd

Both Tri-County teams finished in the top five this season at the Juel finals in Windsor. The Juel team finished 2nd in the regular season and closed the playoffs in 4th while the Juel Prep team finished 5th in the regular season but pulled out a bronze place finish.

3 Thunder Graduates

The Tri-County Thunder program will miss Maya Day, Ali Darling, and Nina Farkic as they graduate from secondary basketball. Both Maya and Nina have committed to play basketball again in the fall. Maya will strengthen the Laurier Golden Hawks and Nina with head south of the border to play for Western Michigan. Ali will be attending Guelph University as an accomplished musician to pursue studies in the arts.

This leaves 10 returning girls on the Juel team who are still continuing to develop this summer in the AAU program and will make a strong appearance in the upcoming season.
