This Thursday, the Tri-County Thunder program will be celebrating the signing of our senior players at WCI in the main gym at 7:35pm. Candice and Courtney Wright, Jacob Hespler High School athletes, will be celebrated for the scholarship signing to Vermont University that took place earlier in the Fall.

Additionally, we will also be recognizing four of our local high school Tri-County players from Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge for being selected to play on the provincial team.

Similarly, three of our local Tri-County Thunder talent have received invitations for the Team Canada Cadette and the Jr National team tryouts as they are one of the top 20 players in Canada. The TriCounty Thunder program would like to honour these achievements and we will also be recognizing players like Kendra VanLeeuwen, a grade 11 player who is receiving many offers to play in the NCAA.

tc-basketball-10And lastly, the Tri-County AAU Summer Team will be announcing that they are scheduled to play in Kentucky and Nashville this summer to play in front of hundreds of NCAA coaches.

Please join us to support these young women, local high school all stars, and some of the best talent in Canada, at Waterloo Collegiate Institute 300 Hazel St. Waterloo, ON N2L 3P2, this Thursday the 12th at 7:35pm.
