Recently, prospectsnational.com named the top 25 Internationally Ranked Female Players. On this list was two of our Tri-County athletes who have been competing on the provincial/national level in the off season.
Ranked 8th on the international women’s prospect list is Kendra Van Leeuwen. Representing the Tri-County Thunder from Brantford, in 2014 Leeuwen took part in the U17 Canadian National Team while leading the TriCounty lead during the JUEL season.
Also on the list is Kitchener’s Nyamouch Teny with the 25th rank. Signed with Vermont, this year she will complete her journey with Tri-County and transitioning into her D1 career in Burlington, Vermont. Read more about her TriCounty experience here.
