Taite was honoured at a breakfast gala event today as a recipient of the Devon Lord Brooks Athletic Award. This is the most prestigious athletic award at Ryerson.
The award was created in memory of Devon Lord Brooks, a dedicated student and passionate athlete who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 27. It recognizes academic excellence and athletic ability and seeks to encourage the strength of the mind, body, and spirit that Devon personified.
The Tri-County Thunder community congratulates Taite on her continued influence and impact wherever she plays.
