Although the decision and process of attending university outside of Canada may seem daunting, it has, personally, been the best decision I could have ever made. I cannot stress the importance of asking as many questions as possible about all aspects of student life at your prospective school. Not only will you be studying at a school, you will be living there most of the year and creating invaluable memories – it is a very important decision.
For athletes that strive to play south of the border, think about what you would like to get out of your university experience. There will eventually come a day when you have to think about life after athletics, choosing the right university will help equip you for that day.”
