The 2015 – 2016 season saw a memorable year for the Tri-County Thunder Prep team. Finishing with a combined record of 21-3 and a bronze metal in-hand; these young women shared excellence on and off the court.
Looking back the team kick-started the season with a string of exhibition games and court side seats at the Air Canada Centre.
Soon followed by exceptional training coaches such as Stu Julius and other decorated university coaches. Including a clinic hosted by the best coach in Canada, the head coach of the University of Windsor’s women program.
Off the court TC Prep went south for a tournament, bonded at crossfit sessions, and raised money for the Food Shelter and Breast Cancer, sporting our pink uniforms and claiming the best dressed team in the league.
Congratulations to Summer and Kaitlyn for being voted by the league coaches into the Juel Prep’s 1st and 2nd Allstar
teams.
Every player had a game this year and recorded a new personal best. We impressed the league with our shared game play and excellent defence. A season of highlights both on and off the court.
